IMPACT is a multidisciplinary journal fusing research, practice and policy to advance the success of urban youth.
The journal is dedicated to critically evaluating the reasons why urban youth are disproportionately enduring the brunt of our failing social policies.
Its goal is to bring the insights of scholar and practitioners together in one journal, so that their work may collectively inspire legislators and policymakers to achieve viable solutions to this growing problem.
IMPACT is housed at the Goldman School of Public Policy (GSPP) at the University of California, Berkeley. As part of GSPP's multidisciplinary approach, the School's faculty are drawn from the fields of economics, political science, law, sociology, social psychology, demography, and public policy, making it the perfect home for IMPACT.
