Scott Gaiber graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a major of Interdisciplinary Studies, comprised of the areas of Business, Economics, and Sociology. He earned his California Teaching Credential from San Jose State University.
Scott began his career in education as an elementary school teacher in San Jose, CA through the Teach For America program. In 2005, he became the Founding 4th /5th Grade Lead Teacher at a new Aspire Public School in Oakland called Berkeley Maynard Academy. Most recently, he served as a Fellow Advisor for the Oakland Teaching Fellows and Oakland City Teacher Corps, two programs whose mission is to increase student achievement in Oakland by placing outstanding teachers in Oakland classrooms.
He is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley.
