Marisa Rimland

Marisa Rimland graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric.  After graduation, she worked as a litigation paralegal at the class action law firm, Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein, for nearly three years. 

Marisa is currently a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy.  Her policy interests include, but are not limited to, the health care and nutritional disparities which exist amongst underprivileged populations.  She has spent time mentoring elementary school children in West Berkeley and is committed to improving the public health of young people through creative policymaking.
