Allison Cohen

Allison Cohen completed her Bachelor's degree at Emory University, where she majored in Sociology and minored in Community Building and Social Change.
She spent the year following graduation in Buenos Aires, Argentina, assisting with a democracy-building program for high school students.
Upon returning to the U.S., she continued working to empower youth at Common Cents, a service-learning organization that runs a youth philanthropy program in New York City's public schools. Most recently, she worked at the Annenberg Institute for School Reform as part of a research team that is evaluating the impact of community organizing for school reform in seven urban school districts.
Allison is currently an MPP candidate at the University of California, Berkeley. She believes passionately in the power of youth to positively contribute to their communities as agents of social change and is dedicated to expanding opportunities for all youth to fulfill their potential.
